East Brunswick House

This two bedroom 1930's semi-detached brick bungalow was renovated to become a three bedroom home with new walk in robe, ensuite and laundry plus light filled kitchen and dining area addition. This spills out to a polished concrete courtyard and deck. The new external volume is clearly distinguished from the old with a high raked ceiling to capture northern light and breezes through clerestory windows.

Internally, light, contemporary and natural finishes brighten up the space. Externally, recycled bricks relate to the materiality, whilst clearly distinguishing the new from the old.
