Flemington House
An existing weatherboard cottage was reconfigured internally to connect the living spaces to a new courtyard, garden and studio. Large timber openings allow views, light and natural light to the new kitchen and living room.
The garden, formally on three levels, was split in to two with a new backyard studio featuring a large corner window to capture views of the sky and surrounding trees. The courtyard with built in timber bench seat provides storage, seating space and a garden edge. The covered hardwood pergola ensures year-round access for outdoor dining.
